MRev NY Overview – What To Expect
At it’s core, MRev is about good people getting together and hanging out.
Catch up on old friendships, and establish new ones.
You’ll meet people who will go out of their way to help you get better at whatever you want to focus on.
We’re still working on the final details of the official agenda for MRev NY, so here’s a brief overview of what you can expect:
| Opening Night Reception On Friday night, Oct. 15th, we’ll be hosing a welcome reception. Come help us get MRev New York kick started. We’ll even let you buy us a drink! |
| Opening Keynotes – Day One and Two The first thing Saturday and Sunday mornings – it’s game on. Grab a quick pastry, some java and we’ll meet up for what we call our “Keynote” presentations. Examples of past keynote addresses include Ric Edelman’s “Stop Selling and Start Educating” and Todd Duncan’s “Welcome to a New Breed of Leadership”. Our goal each morning is to inspire you and set the tone for the rest the event. At 12 noon, we break for lunch – and meet back up around 1pm. After lunch, we reset the ballrooms into smaller, more intimate settings for classroom style workshops and learning. |
| Video Marketing – Education and Implementation Join Dustin Hughes, Jonas Kruckeberg, Brian Larrabee and others as they teach you everything you’ll need to know about Video Marketing. What equipment works best? How do you record videos and host them online? How do you come up with content for your videos? How do you track who is watching your videos? You’ll learn all these things – and a lot more. If you’re ready to integrate Video Marketing into your approach, don’t miss this hands-on event. |
| Social Media Workshops How do you create a high traffic blog that gets found in the search engines and drives targeted clients to specific landing pages designed to build trust, capture information and show off your expertise ? How do you integrate agents and other referral sources into your Web 2.0 efforts? Is Twitter for real or a waste of time? At MRev, you won’t just “learn about” these new technologies – we’re going to help you get everything set up on the spot and working before you leave the event. In fact, when you get back home – you’ll have your very own blog, Facebook Fan Page, Twitter account, and more. |
| High Touch Sales And Time Management Join Khai McBride Derek Egeberg Jason Klaskin, Mike Gulitz and others as they share how to do get stuff done. How do you implement an “Inbox Zero” system once and for all? What types of new strategies are originators executing during the loan process? This track will help you sharpen your selling skills and systematize your entire business. |
| World Domination And Open Mic Night Everyone’s favorite part of their MRev experience is what we modestly call “World Domination” – and that’s when you get to be the star. Think of it as the world’s most dynamic mastermind group. From 8pm until the lights go down, we’ll get together and hang out. But this time, everyone gets one crack at the microphone – and your challenge will be to share your single best idea with the group. If you don’t come away from World Domination with less than 5 killer execution ideas – let us know and we’ll refund your money. It’s that strong. |
